"Dark Fables" TV Pilot, 2016

 

 

A face change effect composited in NukeX. I actually only had a straight on short of the monster face to work with. With a short timeline, I decided to try and get the shot done in 2D, using a single frame, lots of roto and the splinewarp node. The video on the left is an unfinished output, I will post the shot from the episode when it's available.
